Wilson Sonsini Advises Tofu on $5 Million Seed Financing

On October 19, 2023, Tofu, a San Mateo, CA-based generative AI platform for creating hyper-personalized, omnichannel marketing campaigns at scale, announced that it raised $5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from SignalFire, Stage 2 Capital, and Liquid 2 Ventures. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Tofu on the transaction.

Tofu provides B2B marketing teams with a unified platform for creating campaigns at scale that converts leads. It leverages a company’s brand guideline and segmentation (personas, industries, accounts, keywords) and uses generative AI to create unlimited variations of on-brand content for ads, emails, social, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, sales enablement, and any other content needs. Tofu then analyzes the characteristics of successful campaigns to recommend tactics to increase conversion on each channel. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
